How World of Gnocchi handles visitor information, analytics consent, and cookies.

About This Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how World of Gnocchi handles information when you use worldofgnocchi.com. The site is owned and operated by the World of Gnocchi team. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@worldofgnocchi.com.

This policy applies only to World of Gnocchi. Websites reached through our links, including Amazon, have their own privacy policies and are responsible for their own practices.

Information We Receive

You do not need an account or profile to read the site. Some information is transmitted automatically when your browser requests a page.

  • Technical request data. The hosting provider receives standard request data, which may include an IP address, browser and device details, the requested page, the referring page, and the time of the request. It may keep security and access logs under its operational settings.
  • Regional consent check. Before analytics can load, our server compares the request IP address with a locally stored IP-to-country database and returns only whether prior analytics consent is required. The browser does not receive the country or IP address from this check. The lookup uses the DB-IP Lite country database.
  • Information you send. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any information you choose to include. The site does not have account, comment, newsletter, or checkout forms.
  • Google Analytics data. The public site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, traffic sources, approximate location, browser and device details, scrolling, and outbound link clicks. This includes clicks from our site to Amazon. World of Gnocchi does not receive a visitor's full IP address in Google Analytics reports.
  • Analytics settings. Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. We do not use Google Analytics to build advertising audiences.

We request analytics consent only where applicable law or Google policy requires it. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google Analytics remains blocked until the visitor accepts analytics. The same rule applies when we cannot determine the visitor's region. If the visitor rejects analytics, the Google tag remains blocked and no analytics data is sent to Google.

Where prior consent is not required, we do not show the analytics banner and Google Analytics may load when the page opens. If legal requirements change, we may update the regions where consent is requested.

After analytics is allowed, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions. Google Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years unless they are deleted earlier. A necessary first-party setting remembers the analytics choice for up to six months. Visitors can reopen Cookie Settings from the site footer to change or withdraw that choice.

Why We Use Information

  • to deliver pages, protect the site, and diagnose technical problems;
  • to understand which materials are useful and improve the site;
  • to measure outbound visits to the Amazon product listing;
  • to remember and honor analytics choices;
  • to reply when someone contacts us.

We do not use visitor information for undisclosed purposes.

Who May Receive Information

We do not sell visitor information or share it for third-party advertising. Information may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver and protect the site, by Google when analytics is allowed, and by the email provider when someone contacts us. Information may also be disclosed when required by law. These providers may process information in countries where they operate, subject to their own terms and safeguards.

Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services in its privacy documentation.

How Long We Keep Information

Google Analytics event and user data are retained for fourteen months. Analytics-cookie and consent-choice periods are described above. Hosting logs follow the provider's security and operational settings. Email correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the message, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about personal information, request correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email hello@worldofgnocchi.com to make a request. Because the site does not require an account, we may not be able to connect anonymous analytics data to a particular person.

Withdrawing analytics consent is as easy as granting it. Open Cookie Settings, reject analytics, and the site will block future analytics collection and remove its first-party Google Analytics cookies where the browser permits.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and rely on the protections provided by our service providers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. World of Gnocchi does not collect passwords or payment-card details; purchases and payment are handled on Amazon.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the site, its providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
